My China tracking stopped updating, then I got a FedEx or USPS number -- what's going on?

International orders go through multiple stages: your package leaves China, flies to the US (typically via Hong Kong), clears US customs, and is then handed off to a domestic carrier like FedEx or USPS for final delivery. Tracking often goes silent during the transit and customs clearance stages -- this is the "blackout period" and is completely normal. Once the package reaches the US facility and is handed to the domestic carrier, you'll receive a new tracking number via email.
